I applied Vietnam E-visa on official website last week, but it is still in processing right now. My flight is tomorrow and I don’t know how to do now. There is no one to contact at the official website, and there is no phone also. How can I push this Evisa?
Official website is the best website to apply Evisa to Vietnam because it is governmental, however it also has the disadvantage. The two most disadvantages are delayed processing and no support.
It normally takes 3 working days for processing evisa on government website, but sometimes it is delayed because many people apply. At the peak season, Vietnam Government receive too much visa orders and the system is sometimes failed. Many visa orders are delayed, maybe 1 week or even more. But there is no way to contact with Vietnam government website because at this time, there is no support service on this website. You cannot get contact with any staff, you can not ask any question, and you cannot know exactly when is your evisa approved.
In this case, our recommendation is: you should prepare for a visa on arrival for back up. Visa on arrival is type of visa you get when arriving at the airport. This visa is available for all citizens, but you should have the pre-approved letter. This letter must be prepared before going to Vietnam. If you don’t have this letter, you cannot get visa on arrival.
The approval letter is also cheap, 1 month single visa is only 6 USD. So you can apply it as a back up for getting visa on arrival when your evisa is not coming on time.
For those who want to check Evisa application status, just click on the below link and fill in the visa registration code, date of birth and email.
