Visa approval letter is, as its name, a letter to approve you to enter Vietnam in a specific period of time with your personal information. This letter will allow you to get the actual visa on arrival at the Vietnamese international airports.
Hereby is a sample of Visa approval letter issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department for foreigners to Vietnam. You can see the number of each category which demonstrates one by one clearly.
1 – Approval letter code: This is a unique code that distinguishes it with other approval letters. When you arrive at the international airport, you must present this document along with your original passport to the Immigration officer. At that time, the officer will enter the code in their data system. If your information matches with the information in their data, they will issue the actual visa and glue it onto your passport.

In case you want to come sooner or stay longer, you have to renew your visa or apply for a Vietnam visa extension.
8 – The information indicates that you can pick up the actual visa at the international airport in Vietnam.
9 – The information describes that one copy of the approval letter has been sent to the international airport of Vietnam.
